A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. William Gurnee officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bushwood, MD.

Visitation:

 

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel.

 

James McGuire “Jim” Beaver Jr., 34 of Avenue, MD died July 1, 2008 at his residence. Born December 4, 1973 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of Ruth Ann Beaver of Avenue, MD and the late James McGuire Beaver Sr.  He is also survived by his sister Deborah O’Donnell of Chicago, IL. Jim was a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, where he graduated from Chopticon High School “Class of 1992” and obtained an AA degree in elementary education from the College of Southern Maryland in 1995. He was employed as a disc jockey for Beaver’s DJ Service for seven years. The family will receive friends on Monday July 7, 2008 from 9:00-10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held  at 10:00 AM with Fr. William Gurnee officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bushwood, MD. Pallbearer will be A01 Edward T. O’Donnell.  Contributions may be made to the 7th District Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 206, Avenue, MD 20309 and/or 7th District Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 7, Avenue, MD 20609.
