  Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Tuesday March 23, 2004 at Holy Angels Catholic Church,21335 Coltons Point Rd. Avenue, MD 20609. Interment to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bushwood, MD

  Public Viewing Monday March 22, 2004 from 5 PM till 8 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with prayers at 7 PM.
  Raymond Sylvester "Crow" Morgan, Sr., 64, of Bushwood, MD died March 19, 2004 in Washington Hospital Center. Born February 13, 1940 in Clements, MD, he was the son of the late Raymond Stanley and Ellen Catherine Morgan. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann Virginia Joy Morgan whom he married on April 10, 1964 in Holy Angels Church in Avenue, MD and who died on November 30, 1995. He was father to Vickie Ann Anderson of Lusby, MD, Raymond S. Morgan, II of Bushwood, Raymond S. Morgan, Jr. of Avenue and Wayne Morgan and Donna Lynn Fanelli of Abell, MD. He was brother to Martha Wathen of Abell, John Phillip Morgan of Avenue, Joseph Freddie Morgan of Bushwood, Barbara Ann Makle of Lexington Park, Doris Rita Hall of Calvert County, Margaret Teresa Franklin of Prince George's County and Mary Ellen Hill of Bushwood. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Morgan was a lifelong St. Mary's county resident and waterman. He enjoyed hunting, dirt track racing and the Washington Redskins. He loved the water and his family and friends were his pastime. Prayers were said on Monday, March 22, 2004 in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 in Holy Angels Catholic Church in Avenue. Interment followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Bushwood. Pallbearers for Mr. Morgan were Eric Anderson, Jr., Ben Bowles, Gene Latham, Mark Fanelli, Ernie Woodall and John Joy. Honorary pallbearers were Jr. Hayden, Ray Morgan, III, Chris Morgan and Matthew Morgan. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 415 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
