Services:
  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 23070 Maddox Road, Bushwood, MD. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation:
  Public Viewing will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, April 1, 2004 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM with Prayers being held at 7:00 PM
  Richard Philip Pilkerton, 84, of Clements, MD, died March 29, 2004 in St. Mary's Hospital. Born October 4, 1919 in Dynard, MD, he was the son of the late William Francis and Esther Odie Pilkerton. He was brother to Pearl Pilkerton and Eleanor Quade and the late Effie, Frances, Theresa, Mary, Elizabeth, John, Eugene, Turner and William Pilkerton. He is also survived by many relatives and friends. Mr. Pilkerton was a lifelong St. Mary's county resident and self-employed farmer He graduated from Margaret Brent High School in 1934. Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5 - 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 2, 2004 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Francis Early celebrating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Quade, Jr., Ricky McKinney, Kevin Quade, Lenny Quade, Carroll Quade and Richard Wayne Pilkerton. Contributions may be made to the 7th District Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
